What if political will does not exist yet

In case political will does not exist: as a semi-finalist in the Global Challenges Prize 2017: A New Shape, and subsequently in the Educators' Challenge Prize 2018, I would collaborate with Global Governance NGOs, CSOs, Institutions and Government in order to create awareness. I would also leverage on my achievements thus far to raise fund for its campaign among member states, multilateral and private organizations and subsequently, its implementation at the UN. The estimated time frame to achieve this task is 24 months

Additional information

The UN 2.0 System is proposed to solve the prevalent problems of International System that aroused from the transformation failure of functional approach and the formation of the UN System that is characterized with the universalization of western social systems, and the great inequality between developed and less developed nations. As a result, it has given rise to nationalism, ethnic cleansing, and Islamic fundamentalism, cyberspace insecurity and regulation challenges, and many more. Theoretically, functional approach is an incremental method that requires time to benefit material welfare and security needs. However, seventy-three years have elapsed since the creation of UN that is enough to falsify, the supposed peaceable consequences of functional approach, specifically with respect to UN experience at conflict management, global economic crisis and climate change. As an alternative global order, the Unified world approach is linked to the functional approach via the open world framework, which comprises of two functional variables of civilizations namely; identities and values. On the one hand, world identities are formed into Union groups for recognition and representation in the production of global society. On the other hand, their common value variants are for the production and distribution of common global wealth, social development, welfare and security needs at all levels of governance. Based on the conceptual world view of networking civilizations; the Unified world approach upgrades the UN System, structurally. Subsequently, the theoretical debate entails definition, description, explanation and comparison of both approaches in order to identify, their areas of convergence and divergence. In the final outcome, the Unified world approach is a theoretical method, or complex web 2.0 vision of transforming Multilateralism, UN System, Global Governance and International Relations for effectively and efficiently managing global geopolitical events, and common existential risks in information age. Describe your global governance proposal

The proposed UN 2.0 System, Multilateralism 2.0 and Intercontinental Relations are unmasked from 21st century global governance approaches, axioms, frameworks, models and theories by interpreting a formerly impossible web 2.0 metaphor from Information and Communications Technology parlance during the EU funded Seventh Framework Programme: the European Union as a Global Regional Actor for Security and Peace (the EU-GRASP) for changing multilateralism at the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies Bruges, Belgium (2009-2012). The purpose is aimed at advancing the state-of-the-art of theory on multilateralism. It was at this EU-GRASP project that Web 2.0 metaphor was coined for the realization of multilateralism 2.0 vision for conceptualizing new multilateralism, as multilateralism 2.0 while at the end, the Web 2.0 metaphor could not be used to conceptualize multilateralism 2.0.
As a groundbreaking global governance proposal, our present UN System is transformed
by using the Web 2.0 Metaphor as a new data for validating the built Unified World Approach while falsifying the Functional Approach by David Mitrany, and the formation of UN System. Consequently, the Unified World Approach has transformed, unified and updated our global decision-making structures in tackling climate change, pandemics, extreme poverty, global conflicts and global economic crises. For example; the Economic and Social Council is upgraded to the Economic, Social and Environment Council. Details of these structural changes can be found on CORDIS News Portal. However, network thinking and practice is introduced for Remodelling Global Cooperation. Finally, the essence is to network civilizations as Global-Regional Actors for implementing all inclusive and people-centric Multilateralism 2.0 in order to link International Relations to Intercontinental Relations and the UN System to UN 2.0 System, or Global governance 2.0.
